Coach Austin placed third in The North Face Park and Pipe Open Series Virtual competition, where skiers from across the country submitted an edit of their dream competition run in the park or pipe and the judges picked winners based off the videos. Coach Austin and his filmer, Cooper Davidson, drove out to Boreal Mountain Resort’s sister mountain in Colorado to film his dream halfpipe run. We think Austin laid down a technical run with style and ease, but check it out for yourself:
Coach Gabe is a finalist in the Level 1 Superunknown XII competition, which is a video submission competition that has helped give birth to influential skiers like Tom Wallish and others. Not only did Gabe throw down amazing tricks, but he also edited the video himself. Gabe and 9 other finalists were invited to Vermont where they will ski for a week at a private video shoot to earn a spot on the Level 1 crew. Good luck, Gabe!
Come to Woodward Tahoe and ski with talented coaches like Austin and Gabe. Sign up for a private lesson to learn about technical park and pipe riding both in The Bunker and in our Woodward Terrain Parks. If you can’t make it here before the end of the winter season on April 12th, come shred with these guys during summer camp!
