Woodward Tahoe Video Production Camp is an Action Sports Filmmakers dream! Surrounded by the best action sports facilities and athletes on the West coast, we created a weeklong program that gives you the opportunity to build your filmmaking skills and knowledge as you experience what it takes to become an expert. Out instructors help guide your passion and the use of our pro gear and studio in the process of filmmaking.
Under the direction of Paul Heran, you will be able to learn basic to professional composition, exposure, focusing, lighting, and video editing. Paul has been a main stay of the Tahoe shred community and rising star in the realm of action sports videography, having worked recently with Boreal, TVC 2011, TWS, Think Thank, Airblaster, Vimeo everyone's favorite video blogging crew bHappy!
As a video production camper, your week is based on your individual needs. You also have the opportunity to work with some of the current gear in the industry such as track dollies, jib arms, tri pods, monitors, green screens, and audio equipment. When it's time to edit, you'll be assigned an Apple iMac computer and will learn the details of Final Cut Pro HD studio editing software. You may also get the opportunity to shoot one-on-one with pro athletes to capture the type of edit you've been dreaming to create. Combine all of these skills and showcase your work in our Friday night Digital Media Camp Arts Festival, where you will also receive a certificate of completion.
