Dear Woodward Camp Counselors and Instructors:
This past summer my son and two of his friends attended your camp during the week of July 22nd. It was my sons's first time at a sleep away camp. I can't thank you enough for the wonderful experience he had. He came home a more confident and self-reliant person! He still talks about all the Pros and how great they were and fun to be with. His instructor for the Freestyle Bike Camp was terrific. My son told us how patient the counselors and instructors were with him and his buddies when they were learning something difficult. He made some great new friends and still emails and talks to them on the phone. He can't wait to come back next summer. Thanks for providing a safe and unforgettable experience for our son. You are all special people. Have a great winter and prepare yourselfs-- he'll be back with a few more friends.

To whom it may concern,
My son had nothing but superlatives to heap on about his experiences at Woodward. He is a 14 year-old beginning skateboarder who had a blast. I got the sense that he had just the right balance of freedom and supervision. This equilibrium is not easy to get right with teenage boys. I applaud you. When I asked if he had any addresses of his cabin mates he replied "we didn't exchange them because we all agreed that we'd be back next summer." His total commitment to returning to Woodward next summer is now the carrot I can dangle in front of him to stay on the honor roll for the academic year. Thank you for providing a great two weeks for my son. You run a remarkable program.

To Whom it May Concern:
I just wanted to write to you and let you know what a great time my son had! He was a first timer at the camp. He was in the BMX racing program week 12. He has not stopped talking about how awesome the camp was! When we dropped him off, my husband and I were so impressed with the camp. The grounds are spotless. The people are so very friendly and there is so much to do. My son's counselor Mike, was fantastic. I am so glad there is a camp out there for kids who enjoy extreme sports! With that said, Zach will be back next year for a two week stay! Thank you so much.

Dear Woodward,
My name is Tammy and I am the mother of Cody. Cody just attended Woodward and I am writing this letter to extend my thanks to your facility and your staff. Woodward is an opportunity of a lifetime for any child. Cody eats, sleeps and dreams about skateboarding. We had a 5-hour ride home listening about his week there. We listened to nothing but good things and experiences with your camp and staff members. Upon arrival staff members were very helpful, pleasant and almost eager to see the new faces of another group preparing for their week stay. We stayed for quite some time and walked around the grounds, which were extremely beautiful. He had such a blast at Woodward. Additionally, please tell Cody's counselor thank you for me. He had such a wonderful impact on my son. One can never have too much positive influence on one's children.
- Thank you Woodward and Woodward Staff, Tammy
