Iconic Brand Evolves its Role in Cultivating Inspirational Experiences

PARK CITY, Utah, April 4, 2017 – A leader in the youth-culture movement, Woodward today announced a new campaign bringing a refreshed marketing approach to the company’s image and experience offerings, which includes an updated tagline, logo, and creative for advertising, as well as new digital properties, launched last week.

“The youth action lifestyle landscape is complex, and as a result, strong lifestyle brands need to evolve to stay relevant and authentic,” said Jody Churich, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Woodward. “It’s important that we couple a legacy brand like Woodward with energy and momentum, as we continue to empower our participants’ athletic advancement, character building, and community culture.”

At the center of the approach is the tagline “Built by Woodward,” which references the creativity, courage and empowerment Woodward instills among its participants along with development of their dreams, goals and character. “Built by Woodward” is joined by a new logo that serves as a visual representation of the brand “stepping out of the box” with a contemporary look. An inspiring and youthful tone in copywriting is incorporated into all creative aspects of the new campaign as Woodward furthers its commitment to build the next generation of athletes and leaders.
