Woodward Tahoe cheer camp is a program built for your success. Focus on cheer tumbling with our state of the art facilities and experienced coaches, all while having the time of your lives. Our staff is committed to making this your best summer yet.
Who comes to camp? Anyone interested in improving cheer tumble skills from the beginner to the elite is invited to camp. Camper ages range from 7-19 years old. Whether you are coming to camp by yourself, with your friends or your team, we have the most successful program for you. Camp instruction can prepare you for:
• All-Star Cheer Teams
• High school Cheer Teams
• Collegiate Cheer Teams
• Competitive Power Tumbling and Trampoline
• Recreational Cheer Teams
• Tumbling for Fun!
Besides working out with experienced coaches, new friends and teammates, you’ll get a chance to meet the top cheer and tumble athletes in the game!
Upon arriving to camp each athlete will be divided into coaching groups based on age and skill level. Each morning athletes will have 3 hours of training with their designated group and coach. Instruction will be focused on progression of tumbling skills. Other stations will include jumps, dance and stunt drills. During afternoon instruction athletes will be given time to work on specific personal goals.
You’ll be training in The Bunker, a magical place where progression is inevitable. Accomplishing your goals seems limitless with a facility like this:
• 42' x 54' Spring Floor
• Rod Floor
• Tumble Track
• 6 Flybed Trampolines
• Super Tramp
• Double Mini-Tramp
• 3 Foam Pits
• 3 Resi Pits
And of course all the landing and tumbling mats you’ll ever need. In The Bunker we also have installed our Coach Cam. Record your skills and instantly get video feedback!
Summer camp is all about fun and with 35+ additional activities, there's plenty to do if you want to take a break from the gym. You can design a custom deck at Create-A-Skate, catipault into Lake Woodward from The Blob, take pictures in the photobooth or even learn a new sport. The options are endless!
Summer camp is a sleepover every night! All campers stay in The Bunkhouse which even has a movie theater and video game lounge. Each bunkroom is furnished in it's own special theme but all have bunkbeds and bathrooms with showers. Campers are placed in bunkrooms based on age and sport. There is a maximum of 11 campers per bunkroom and counselors are present day and night. Believe us, after a long day of cheering, your bunk will never look better!
Food, glorious food! Fuel up at the Mess Hall with all-you-can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals and menus vary daily but always include fresh locally sourced produce. Dinners are a great way to end the day and favorites include Fajita Fridays, Hawaiian Ham and Summer Thanksgiving.
Moondoes's Cafe is snack heaven! It's stocked full of frozen slushies, Red Bulls and other tasty treats.
