Designed by our staff and pros, our freeski program focuses on skills, tricks and style. If you want to dial in some tricks over the summer while shredding one of the best summer terrain parks in the country, look no further. Full lift accessed park, jump-line and multiple jibs await.
Ride the mountain daily with no delays. There is no shuttle to take and no long lift rides just to get to the park. In fact, the lift is just a snowballs throw away from our Bunker facility. Woodward Tahoe is simply a park skiers dream molded into snow. Campers from all across the map are invited to ski our parks with some of the best in the business. Every week you’ll get the chance to session with the very pros you’ve seen in the magazines and rest assured they’ll help you step your game up—next level skiing. No doubt, a trip out here with us will not leave you disappointed.
Upon arrival to camp, campers will be placed into coaching groups by our staff based on age and ability level. Everyday campers receive upwards of 4 hours of group coaching from our pros, followed by an additional 9 hours of open session. Encouragement, challenge and progression are staple parts of our program and the pros will be leading you all the way.
Top profreeskiers and expert coaches will be in the park to ride and help dial in your next trick. Can't stomp your moves? Take it to The Bunker, learn it on the tramps or in the foam pit, then head straight back on the mountain to stick it. Daily coaching will go down on the snow and in The Bunker. By the end of your week of camp, our crew wants to make sure you have your new trick dialed in.
No ski racers or beginner lessons to dodge. Get stoked on the private park built each week just for the campers, all accessed by a quad chairlift. For a week, the mountain is yours! Ski the same high-caliber park that Woodward Tahoe offers at Boreal Mountain Resort during winter, only now it's all yours.
Summer camp is all about fun and with 35+ additional activities, there's plenty to do if you want to take a break from skiing. You can design a custom deck at Create-A-Skate, catipault into Lake Woodward from The Blob, scurry around during a paintball game or even learn a new sport. The options are endless!
Summer camp is a sleepover every night! All campers stay in The Bunkhouse which even has a movie theater and video game lounge. Each bunkroom is furnished in it's own special theme but all have bunkbeds and bathrooms with showers. Campers are placed in bunkrooms based on age and sport. There is a maximum of 11 campers per bunkroom and counselors are present day and night. Believe us, after a long day of skiing, your bunk will never look better!
Food, glorious food! Fuel up at the Mess Hall with all-you-can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals and menus vary daily but always include fresh locally sourced produce. Dinners are a great way to end the day and favorites include Fajita Fridays, Hawaiian Ham and Summer Thanksgiving.
Moondoes's Cafe is snack heaven! It's stocked full of frozen slushies, Red Bulls and other tasty treats.
